Confrontation Is Ongoing Due To Hezbollah’s Unchanged Strategy
Lebanese Forces MP Antoine Zahra said that Lebanon could not tolerate the victory of one faction over the other.
He said that confrontation was ongoing since Hezbollah did not change its strategy but retreated after its “Arab and Islamic scandal” on May 7.
During a meeting with LF supporters, Zahra said that there would be electoral change in Mount Lebanon. He said that LF and Kataeb agreed on a clear national orientation and one electoral understanding.
Asked whether some of the Lebanese detainees in Syrian prisons would be released after the return of Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun from Syria, Zahra replied, “Syria refuses to admit the presence of missing persons.”
He warned that if Aoun returned with any detainees, this would be a, “Syrian-Aounist conspiracy to exploit those detainees.”
