Hizbullah Hails Aoun: Representative of Christians in the Region
Hizbullah on Tuesday labeled Free Patriotic Movement leader Gen. Michel Aoun as the top representative of Christians in Lebanon and "the Arab orient."
Hizbullah”s deputy secretary general Sheikh Naim Qassem also praised President Michel Suleiman, Interior Minister Ziad Baroud and Army Commander Gen. Jean Qahwaji for "restoring the path of relations" in favor of Lebanon and Syria.
Qassem called for reactivating an agreement on averting media campaigns between March 8 and March 14 forces.
Hizbullah and its March 8 allies, he added, insist on holding the forthcoming parliamentary elections on schedule "without any delay, even for one day."
