Habib Condemns Aoun for Comments in Damascus
Lebanese Forces MP Farid Habib said that he did not question Aoun’s recent comments Damascus, as they were the essentially the same discourse Aoun had always engaged in, only now reflecting his subordination to Syria.
In an interview with al-Anbaa daily on Friday, Habib said that Aoun had “killed the martyr twice,” once through his wars to reach the presidency, and, now, through his demand, in Damascus, that Beiruti”s and not Syrians apologize first.
Habib also asked whether Aoun would later on request that Hezbollah apologize to the Israeli cabinet for the harm it had caused the Israeli army.
