Lebanon is Approaching Challenges and Struggles That Will Determine its Course
Head of the Future Movement MP Saad Hariri said:" Lebanon is approaching great challenges and open struggles that will determine its course for coming decades."
On the third anniversary for the assassination of outspoken MP-journalist Gebran Tueni, Hariri reiterated his position that March 14 Forces would continue to pursue their course and face the challenges.
"Gebran”s voice still rings in the conscience of all Lebanese to shorten the distance of the dream of freedom, independence and unity," he said.
He went to add:" this anniversary is a motive to face up to the challenge, an expression of will to hold on to what Gebran fought and died for. Our pledge to Gebran today is to remain up to par with the challenge, to commit to the accords of March 14, those of sovereignty, freedom and independence."
Hariri was adamant in vowing to take up the fight of the 2009 parliamentary elections saying:" this is the battle for avenging Gebran Tueni from the enemies of democracy and freedom. This is a battle for recognizing the Lebanese state and its constitutional institutions."
