Hariri Calls on All Countries to Support Lebanon’s Legitimate Institutions
Future Movement leader MP Saad Hariri welcomed on Wednesday Russia’s decision to provide the Lebanese Armed Forces with ten Russian MiG-29 fighter jets.
He said that this decision proved the deep relation between both countries, and Russia’s sincere willingness to support legitimate Lebanese institutions, especially security and military ones.
He called on all friendly countries to follow Russia’s initiative and also support these institutions, in order to protect Lebanon’s stability and sovereignty.
Hariri praised Defense Minister Elias al-Murr’s efforts and the cabinet’s policies to enhance the army’s capabilities in facing major dangers and challenges.
