Israeli troops throw smoke grenades at farmer
Israeli Army soldiers threw two smoke bombs and opened fire at a farmer on the outskirts of the Southern border village of Blida in an attempt to frighten him and push him away from the border, the state-run National News Agency (NNA) said on Thursday.
Mohammad Ahmad Hassan Daher, who was working on his field, was not hit by the fire. Two patrols from the Lebanese Army and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) arrived at the area and started an investigation into the attack, the NNA added.
