The Syrian flag was hosted about the Syrian embassy in Hamra Street in the presence of three Syrian diplomatic personnel prior to the official inauguration.
A plaque was also hung at the entrance to the building bearing the name of the embassy. Noted that, it is the first time that diplomatic affairs are held between Beirut and Damascus since their independence.
