Soueid Warns Against Miss-Calculated Adventures
March 14 general coordinator, Fares Soueid, said that the Lebanese are required to respect UNSCR 1701 and refrain from miss-calculated adventures.
Soueid, in a telephone call with Future News on Sunday, condemned the Gaza massacres and said that “implementing UNSCR 1701 guarantees Lebanon’s well-being” amidst the turbulent regional situation.
He said that “discovering the Katyusha rockets near the southern borders with Israel 24 hours prior to the Israeli offensive on Gaza, along with the vocal stances and practical behavior of those who are loyal to Hezbollah, urge us to warn against the propagation of the war in Gaza, which is something rejected by all the Lebanese.”
