Bkirki Supports All Christians and Reconciliations
Minister of Tourism Elie Marouni said, after meeting with Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir on Saturday in Bkirki, that the Maronite Patriarchy supported all Christians and Lebanese, and it did not need to foster reconciliations with anybody, because “it is the mother of all reconciliations.”
Marouni added that he informed Sfeir of the annual report that evaluates the tourism sector, which, he said was prosperous. He said that the discussions also included the new projects to be launched in 2009, especially tourism to religious places which distinguish Lebanon among all countries.
He also extended an invitation to the Patriarch, on behalf Zahle residents, to visit the city in the Bekaa Valley.
