LAF and UNIFIL hold control of the situation in South Lebanon
The Lebanese Army Command said in a statement issued on Thursday that LAF and UNIFIL have jointly taken all necessary measures so as to protect the population in South Lebanon and control the situation there. This step aims to prevent any attempt to abuse or destabilize the security in the country.
The statement noted that “on Thursday morning, unknown sources fired rockets against the Palestinian occupied territories. In parallel, many rockets fell in the Lebanese territories, mainly to the northern Naqoura village, coming from the Israeli enemy side”. The statement concluded that there were no victims.
