Cabinet Sole Authority to Reveal Truth behind Rocket-Launching
Grand Mufti Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabbani has called on the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) and UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) to ensure a strict maintenance of stability in southern Lebanon.
Qabbani’s statements come hours after Israel retaliated against rockets launched from South Lebanon on Thursday morning.
Qabbani also called on the Lebanese to unite to protect Lebanon against being dragged into another war. The mufti also said the Lebanese cabinet was the sole authority that could issue an official statement on the missile attack.
