National Dialogue Postponed for Few Days?
President Michel Suleiman has decided to postpone the national dialogue session to January 26, As Safir daily reported Monday.
It said the session that was scheduled to discuss Lebanon”s defense strategy at Baabda Palace on Jan. 22 will be held on the 26th because Suleiman is planning to attend an Arab economic summit in Kuwait.
During the last session, Lebanese leaders decided to form a military committee to study defense strategy suggestions.
As Safir quoted sources as saying the next dialogue session will be followed by another meeting in March, the last talks before the parliamentary elections set for June 7.
