Cabinet Approves Cellular Deal
The Lebanese Cabinet on Monday granted two firms rights to operate cellular communication services.
Information Minister Tareq Mitri said Egypt”s Orascom and Kuwait”s Zain won the tender to operate the two networks.
He did not disclose further details.
However, the cabinet decided to resume on Tuesday discussion of the state budget bill for fiscal 2009, Mitri said.
