Suleiman in Kuwait
President Michel Suleiman on Sunday flew into Kuwait to take part in the two-day Arab Economic Summit scheduled for Monday.
Upon arrival, Suleiman held a meeting with premier Fouad Saniora who also is in Kuwait for the summit.
Suleiman had taken part in the Doha meeting and registered Lebanon”s reservation on a clause of its recommendations calling for abolishing the Arab peace Initiative.
Suleiman adheres to the Arab peace initiative that was adopted in the 2002 Beirut summit, which he had also declared commitment to it in his oath address last May.
