Arab stance adopts the Arab Peace Initiative
March 14 forces general coordinator Fares Souaid told on Monday the Voice of Lebanon radio station that Kuwait summit confirmed the official Arab stance which completely adopts the Arab Peace Initiative, despite all those who doubt it and call, instead, on attention and pursuing resistance.
He pointed out that Kuwait summit though it didn’t reach a definite and final solution for inter-Arab conflicts; it was called instead the Arabization of the Palestinian cause under the patronage of Saudi Arabia.
Souaid also stated that the sole and best defense strategy for Lebanon is to abide by the international legitimacy resolution, especially the 1701 resolution and the restriction of arms use to the Lebanese State.
