Those Who Attack the Formation of a Neutral Bloc Fear its Political Influence
In an interview to Radio Free Lebanon on Sunday, Head of National Bloc Carlos Edde explained that those who attack the formation of a neutral bloc in the parliament do so because they are afraid of the influence of independent voters and candidates. “The neutral bloc, he says, is made up of people who are against the positions of MP Michel Aoun but who have not adopted all March 14’s ideas.
Concerning the National Dialogue, he believes that the session will not bring new results. He accused the Hezbollah of organizing the Awkar demonstration and of being responsible for its slogans. Edde adds, “We have seen the real face of Hezbollah during its occupation of the city center and the May 7 incidents.”
