We Have a Lot to Learn From Lebanon
Georgian Vice Premier Giorgi Baramidze said that his country looks fondly at Lebanon adding: "For us Lebanon is an example to be followed, that is why we say we have a lot to learn from it."
Following his meeting with Information Minister Tareq Mitri the Georgian official said: "There are many resemblances between Georgia and Lebanon. We Georgians suffer from having parts of our country under occupation by Russia, we wish to establish a good dialogue with our neighbors as Lebanon does with its own neighbors."
He explained that his meeting with Mitri focused on historic bilateral relations and with Georgia”s relationship to the European Union.
"I am pleased to say that I have learned a lot from your information minister, I shall seek to further develop bilateral relations between Georgia and Lebanon," Baramidze said.
