Wahab Waves Stick
Ex-Minister Wiam Wahab on Saturday urged leaders of the March 8 alliance to consolidate ranks and prepare a unified strategy for the elections based on amending the Taef accord.
Wahab, in a television interview, also said March 8 leaders should "agree on a plan to rule the country after the elections."
He also launched a vehement attack on leaders of the March 14 majority alliance and accused Progressive Socialist Party (PSP) leader Walid Jumblat of "attempting to split the army."
"It is banned to naturalize Palestinians, to partition the country, to strike at the resistance and to strike at the army," Wahab said.
"If they committed any of these taboos they would be beaten up again … and it would be harder than the May 7 strike," he pledged.
