Hariri Commemoration “Referendum” On Lebanon
Mufti of Mount Lebanon Mohammad Ali Jouzou said the commemoration of the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri would mark “Lebanon’s new-found freedom, despite the attempts to obstruct this event.”
“Participation in commemoration of the martyrdom of Prime Minister Rafik Hariri is a referendum on those who are by Lebanon’s side while there are some who sell Lebanon to Syria and Iran,” Jouzou said.
He added that the March 8 coalition aimed to “stir sectarian and religious tensions to preserve their diminishing popularity among the Lebanese.”
