Gunmen Snatch Jordanian MP”s Car at Gunpoint
Unknown assailants have snatched a Jordanian MP”s vehicle at gunpoint in the eastern Bekaa Valley, the National News Agency reported Tuesday.
It said three gunmen in a BMW intercepted MP Bassam Hamad Khalifeh as he was driving near the Masnaa border crossing. They forced him out of his Range Rover and drove away in it.
A few hours later, three gunmen driving a Range Rover forced Lebanese citizen Sami Dinnawi out of his car, also a Range, in Mazraat Yashouh northeast of Beirut and sped away in the two vehicles.
NNA said that the assailants might have used the Jordanian MP”s vehicle in the Mazraat Yashouh robbery after removing its license plate.
