Sfeir”s Comments about March 8 Undemocratic…Murr Stabbed Us in the Back
Deputy Prime Minister Issam Abu Jamra described as "undemocratic" comments by Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Sfeir about March 8.
Sfeir has warned of "historic mistakes" if the Hizbullah-led March 8 coalition comes to power.
"We hope the patriarch deals with religious issues" rather than political affairs, Abu Jamra said in an interview with the Kuwaiti daily Al Rai.
Addressing Sfeir, Abu Jamra said: "Leave politics for politicians."
He termed as "unsuccessful" the experience between Free Patriotic Movement and MP Michel Murr.
"For this reason, we broke up," he explained.
Abu Jamra accused Murr of stabbing FPM in the back.
