Cabinet Minister Nassib Lahoud announced he was joining the alliance grouping Phalange party leader Amin Gemayel and MP Michel Murr in the Metn province.
Lahoud said the Gemayel-Murr alliance will have a "positive impact on the election battle in Metn and Lebanon."
"It is only normal that March 14 leaders run in the same district under one ticket," Lahoud said.
