Egyptian Embassy in Beirut Still Under Tight Security
Lebanon continued to maintain tight security measures that have been imposed around the Egyptian embassy in Beirut since the Israeli war on Gaza.
Even after the end of the aggression on Gaza, the roads leading to the building where the embassy is located in Beirut”s Jnah district have been blocked and the area surrounded by cement blocks and barbed wire.
Security sources had said that the measures were "preventative" in view of repeated demonstrations outside the Egyptian embassy in protest against the offensive on Gaza at the time.
