State Sole Option for Lebanon’s Salvation
Lebanese Forces Executive Council deputy leader MP George Adwan emphasized, during a political meeting on Friday night in Jbeil, the importance of supporting the state and security services. He also noted the “army is the sole option for Lebanon’s salvation.”
He said the LF’s reservations about some appointments within the military institution “does not mean it does not support the army or its command. These remarks come in light of our concerns about the army and we draw the attention of its leadership to some members who are still exploiting their positions for political ends.”
He added the March 14 alliance would present a clear political project on the basis of national fundamentals and would run in the upcoming parliamentary elections with united lists in all regions.
“I call on those who doubt this issue to wait for two weeks and see the results,” he added.
