Qadisha Employees” Rights Legitimate, Blackout in Bcharreh Must Cease
In a statement issued on Monday, MP Sitrida Geagea and MP Elie Kairouz revealed that, “the long power-cut in Bcharreh and Bekaakafra which was now ongoing for a week, due to the Qadisha’s employees’ strike, has approached its peak and after long and exhausting calls the problem was solved”.
Geagea and Kairouz said that they had to intervene personally and call the employees at Qadisha Electricity Company to mend the problem.
Both MPs also urged on the need to find a radical solution to the problem of electricity in the area of Bcharreh since its people are suffering from frost and harsh weather.
Geagea and Kairouz also addressed the demands of striking workers of Qadisha power and understanding their legitimate demands and work to meet them.
