Grenade Attacks Intimidation Messages Ahead of Elections
Amin Gemayel”s Phalange Party said Monday that grenade attacks targeting their offices as well as positions belonging to Samir Geagea”s Lebanese Forces were "intimidation messages" ahead of general elections.
"These acts are clear evidence that in Lebanon there are those who try to send election-related intimidation messages in an attempt to create an atmosphere of pressure in order to upset the balance of powers," said a statement at the end of the Phalange party politburo meeting.
The party considered as "worrying" the kidnapping of MEA employee Joseph Sader.
