Daher Violated a Judicial Order
The Lebanese Forces (LF) party responded to Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation (LBC) TV chairman Pierre Daher saying he has violated a judicial order and abstained from attending a questioning session last Monday, a matter that caused the judge to issue a warrant against him.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the LF said that the presiding judge in the case had previously rejected the case made by Daher against the LF regarding LBC”s ownership issue.
The statement said that Daher knows fully well that the Lebanese Forces are a united single unit that established the television station paying for all of its equipment.
It went on to add that Daher was appointed to his post by the LF and secured the movement of the corporation from Jounieh to its current location in Adma.
Daher”s attorney previously issued a memo wondering which LF is taking his client to court, was it the 2005 LF under its current leader Samir Geagea or the 1991 LF under Fouad Malik, or could it be the LF under Elie Hobeika, Karim Pakradouni and Samir Geagea, or only the LF that was previously established by the Lebanese Front composed of the Phalange Party, National Liberal Party and others.
