100,000 Pirated CDs and DVDs Destroyed
Over 100,000 pirated compact discs, digital video discs containing films, songs and video games were destroyed on Tuesday as part of a crackdown on violators of intellectual property rights.
The process was carried out by special judicial police unit that confiscated the pirated material from all Lebanese regions.
Head of the Special Criminal Branch Brigadier General Deeb al-Toubaili and representatives of various local production and marketing companies were also there.
