Sarkis regrets the attacks against Maronite Patriarch Sfeir
Following his visit to Bkirki, Former Tourism Minister Joe Sarkis expressed his surprise on Friday over the negative campaigns launched against Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Botros Sfeir.
Sarkis wondered why other confessions respected their religious figures while some MAronites where behind the attack against Patriarch Sfeir.
Sarkis confirmed that the Lebanese Forces members would participate in large numbers in the upcoming parliamentary elections to ensure the victory of the coalition that supports sovereignty.
