Alert Level Raised to 100% with Launch of Hariri Tribunal
Police chief Maj. Gen. Ashraf Rifi on Friday ordered security forces to be on maximum alert on the occasion of the launch of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon on March 1.
Rifi issued a directive ordering to raise the level of alertness to "100 percent."
He stressed the need to take stringent security measures, conducting patrols and setting up checkpoints to keep peace and order.
The ISF and the army should coordinate efforts in all Lebanese regions, Rifi added.
