Bkirki Has Lost Its Impact on Lebanese Public Opinion
Free Patriotic Movement’s official head of the Economic Commission and possible candidate for Beirut’s Catholic seat Nicolas Sehnaoui stated on Monday that “Bkirki has lost its impact on the Lebanese public opinion because it has allied openly with one Christian party against the other.”
In an interview with al-Balad daily on Monday, Sehanoui regretted the appointment of MPs in Ashrafieh, Rmeil, Saifeh and Mdawar that do now represent its people.
Sehnaoui saw that the FPM has succeeded in the past period in maintaining Lebanon’s independence, sovereignty and civil peace along fortifying the partnership after the actual marginalization of the Lebanese Christians for a long time.
