Hezbollah denounces International Criminal Court”s decision

In a statement issued on Thursday, Hezbollah denounced International Criminal Court”s decision to issue an arrest warrant against Sudanese President Omar al-Bachir, and saw it as evidence of "bias and politicization" of some international forums.

Hezbollah said it "strongly deplores" the International Criminal Court against al-Bashir.
The statement added that "it is further evidence of the international human rights forums of being impartial politicizing the verdict along having a policy of double standards.”

Hezbollah said that the timing of the decision "after a period of reconciliation and consensus developed that relate to addressing the Darfur crisis, and an obvious attempt to bring a suspicious explosion in the region and a threat to Sudan”s sovereignty and territorial integrity through the promotion of separatism."

The party also wondered "about the blindness of justice and their absence from the prosecution of war criminals from U.S. officials and the Israelis, who filled the graves of Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan and Pakistan, hundreds of thousands of deaths and destroyed infrastructure, and milestones of human civilization."
