Suspect under Arrest for Leaking Document on Eido
Lebanon”s military court ordered Wednesday the arrest pending examination of a man suspected of leaking to the media a copy of an investigation record in the murder case of MP Walid Eido and his son.
The government”s commissioner to the court, Judge Jean Fahd, said a television channel broadcast had broadcast the document this week even though the investigation into the assassination is ongoing.
Fahd said he referred the detainee to the court of cassation to look into his file.
