Young Boy Abducted and Abandoned by Unknown Assailants
A 12-year old boy was kidnapped, beaten up and abandoned after he left his school in the town of Barssa in Koura, the National News Agency reported Wednesday.
At least three men in their thirties snatched Khalil Boutros Abi Rashid and drove away in a silver-colored Mercedes S-Class, the NNA said.
Abi Rashid was found 30 minutes later in a nearby town suffering bruises after being punched several times in the abdomen.
Security forces are looking into the incident, the NNA added.
