Karam for Facilitating Administrative Appointments
Environment Minister Tony Karam said in an interview with Voice of Lebanon radio station on Friday that those determined to see the upcoming parliamentary elections held on time and the administrative appointments completed played a critical role.
Karam said that during the cabinet’s session Thursday evening major issues were not discussed, but noted that the draft treaty to ensure the security of Lebanese judges participating in the Special Tribunal for Lebanon was approved.
He also said the ministers discussed health care issues and that Prime Minister Fouad Siniora responded in a positive way.
Karam said he hoped controversial issues would soon be solved.
