Upcoming Elections Foundation for the Victory of the Resistance
The head of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc Muhammad Raad said the upcoming elections were to be "the foundation for the victory of the… Resistance and the failure of the adversary”s project."
These elections would be "a chance for the team which counted on riding the wave of that project in a passing period of time to return to its senses and to make its decisions anew," the MP said during a meeting in Nabatiyeh on Sunday.
He indicated that Lebanon”s past problems were not issues of government or parliament positions but rather "a national choice."
He then asked if "we want Lebanon to be a strong resistance, capable of confronting the Israeli enemy… or do we want to be aligned with the axis of moderate states which base their moderation on the demand of reconciling with the Zionist entity at the expense of the rights of the Palestinian people and their cause?"
Both the March 8 and March 14 movements are still forming their lists for the approaching elections.
