UNIFIL requests that IDF stop farmers from pumping rainwater into South
UNIFIL Spokeswoman Yasmina Bouziane confirmed on Wednesday that Israeli farmers pumped on Tuesday rainwater from an Israeli orchard in the direction of the Tawfa area in the southern region of Mays al-Jabal near the Israeli-Lebanese border.
She added that UNIFIL and the Lebanese army increased patrols in the area, noting that UNFIL had contacted the Israel Defense Forces and requested they stop the operations and refrain from carrying out similar activities in the future.
