Forthcoming electoral battle leaves no place for disagreement among March 14
The March 14 General Secretariat Coordinator and former MP Fares Soueid announced that the alliance would hold a political meeting on March 29 in Jbeil.
Following a meeting with Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea in Maarab on Tuesday, Soueid denied rumors circulating in the media that there was major discrepancy among the March 14 parties, adding that “the alliance was heading in the right direction, and Geagea is launching an initiative in this regard.”
“Dialogue and deliberation among the March 14 parties are continual… the importance of the forthcoming electoral battle leaves no place for disagreement among them,” the former MP said.
“Hezbollah is trying to calm the domestic political atmosphere in an effort to ease electoral tensions, and prepare itself for the event,” Soueid said.
