Indonesian warship set to join UNIFIL naval force
Indonesian warship KRI Diponegoro-365 began on Thursday its journey to Lebanon, where it will join UN peacekeeping force UNIFIL”s Maritime Task Force.
Antara news agency quoted Navy spokesman Commodore Iskandar Sitompul as saying the ship would call at ports in India, Oman and Egypt before finally arriving in Lebanon.
The Indonesian ship will remain in Lebanese waters until October 2009.
