Vote for the building of a free and sovereign state
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said on Sunday in a speech to party members in Zahle that the March 14 alliance has achieved many goals related to independence and freedom, but it has not yet succeeded in “the building of the strong, effective, balanced and capable state.
The strong, effective, balanced and capable state which embodies the dreams of all the Lebanese, past and coming decades.”
Geagea said: “You are capable of achieving this state through the votes you will cast in the ballot boxes on June 7, so don’t hesitate. You were heroes in the times of war, so we want you to stay heroes in a time of peace. Vote for a free, sovereign and independent Lebanon.”
He added, “We want you to vote to the project of establishing the state, and not its shadow. We want you to vote for the implementation of the constitution, and not to void it. We want you to vote for the rule of law, and not for chaos.”
He concluded his speech by calling on the Lebanese to “vote for the future of your children, and the interests of your nation.”
