Sfeir praises ISF efforts in releasing Khansa, hopes Sader’s fate will be revealed
During a meeting with Internal Security Forces Director General Achraf Rifi on Thursday in Bkirki, Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir praised the efforts of the ISF in releasing Amin Khansa.
Khansa, 14, was kidnapped on Monday in Ghobeiri while waiting for the school bus.
Sfeir said the incident would be a lesson to those committing criminal activities. Sfeir said he hoped the fate of Youssef Sader, a Middle East Airlines employee who was kidnapped in February on his way to work, would also be revealed soon.
Rifi said the investigation on Sader’s kidnapping was underway, but reiterated that both cases were different. He added that the ISF was making efforts to secure the safety of all citizens.
