The four top leaders of the March 14 coalition held a meeting Thursday night in a major step aimed at finalizing electoral tickets and removing obstacles that had hindered the formation of lists in several areas.
The meeting was held in Qoreitem between Mustaqbal movement leader Saad Hariri, Phalange party chief Amin Gemayel, Democratic Gathering head Walid Jumblat and Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea.
An Nahar daily said Friday that several sticking points were solved ahead of the meeting through talks and visits among March 14 figures, including a meeting away from the spotlight between Gemayel and Jumblat Wednesday night.
The newspaper said that the two leaders discussed the possibility of having a Phalange member on Jumblat”s list in Aley.
