Hariri-Salam alliance modified
Future Movement MP Atef Majdalani told the Voice of Lebanon radio station on Monday that there would not be an electoral battle in the Beirut III district, because “the results will definitely be in favor of the movement.”
He said some modifications were made to the candidate names, and the alliance forged between his movement leader, MP Saad Hariri, and Minister of Culture Tamam Salam.
Majdalani also said the forthcoming parliamentary elections were “decisive,” because voters should choose between two agendas: Either supporting Lebanon’s interests or keeping the country an arena for reaching regional objectives.
