Lebanese Option Gathering official Ahmad Hijazi’s car was burned Tuesday morning in the Maamoura area in Dahiyeh, after unidentified persons on a motor cycle threw gasoline on it.
The party issued a statement saying that the attack aimed “to intimidate the free voice of the Shia,” especially after the party announced its candidates and campaign program, which were to end the monopoly of power and authoritarianism within the Shia community.
