Lebanese State to Hand Hariri Case Jurisdiction to Special Tribunal
Examining Magistrate Saqr Wednesday, issued a decision to remove the state”s jurisdiction from the Hariri assassination case, Lebanon”s official National News Agency said.
The case has been referred to Judge Saeed Merza who referred in turn the justice ministry, which will pass it on the Special Tribunal for Lebanon in the Hague via diplomatic channels.
Judge Saqr”s decision included recovering all issued arrest warrants including the four detained Generals: Raymond Azar, Jamil el-Sayed, Ali al-Hajj and Mustapha Hamdan.
All related documents in the case are being prepared for shipping via diplomatic channels.
