The Israeli army combed the surroundings of the town of Gajar Thursday morning as warplanes hovered over Shebaa Farms in violation of Lebanese airspace, the National News Agency reported.
The soldiers carried out a broad survey of land alongside the border fence, which spreads from Gajar to the outskirts of the town of Abbasiyah. The army also held a technical workshop to train troops on how to test out surveillance equipment set on the fence.
In parallel to Israeli ground activities, military aircraft hovered over the Shebaa Farms and while unmanned surveillance planes flew over the liberated parts of al-Arqoub.
