Terrorist act against LAF condemned
Lebanese Forces MP Antoine Zahra condemned the deadly Monday morning ambush of Lebanese soldiers in the Bekaa valley, calling it a “terrorist act.”
In an interview with a Kuwaiti newspaper to be published on Tuesday, he called on the military and security forces to be firm and punish those responsible for security breaches, no matter whom they were or what the price.
He added the use of B-7 launchers indicated an enormous spread of light and heavy arms beyond the authority of the Lebanese state. He noted the March 14 alliance aimed to put an end to the problem.
Zahra offered his condolences to Army Command and the families of those killed, and said the LF supported the military, especially in difficult times.
