Complete consensus on LF candidates within March 14, withdrawal subject to consensus
Lebanese Forces MP Farid Habib said on Tuesday that “what is going on in parliament is a mockery,” a reference to the MPs not maintaining the necessary quorum for parliament to convene. “Every party is working to achieve its own goals,” he told the Voice of Lebanon radio station, but stressed that the “new parliament should assume its legislative role.”
Habib also said the Lebanese Forces had agreed with the March 14 alliance to announce the LF’s electoral list and assured that any disagreement, “in case there were any,” would be discussed among the March 14 leaders away from the media.
