Tueni to Abou Jamra: Who occupies Achrafieh so to liberate it?
Speaking to Voice of Lebanon radio station on Wednesday, Greek Orthodox candidate in Beirut I district Nayla Tueni stated that the district’s electoral list would be complete and was set to be announced before Sunday.
Criticizing the statements of her rival for the same seat Issam Abou Jamra who expressed his will to liberate Achrafieh region, Tueni asked, “but who occupies Achrafieh so as to liberate it?” She underscored that these statements were offensive against Achrafieh residents.
She pointed out that her candidacy aims to back the principles of freedom, sovereignty and independence against the principles of arms, tutorship, oppression and the project of “Mohamad Raad” as she called it.
