Police Arrest Armed Man at Mustaqbal Movement Meeting in Akkar
Security forces arrested on Tuesday a man for carrying two hand grenades during an electoral meeting held by al-Mustaqbal movement members in Meshmesh, Akkar and seized weapons from his house.
The state-run National News Agency said police arrested Yasser Mohammed Qamareddine, 32, after drawing suspicion. They found two hand grenades hidden in his jacket.
Security forces later found inside his home a Rocket Propelled Grenade and ammunition, according to NNA.
Qamareddine was handed over to military police for interrogation.
